I’m Suki Tang, the founder of HAPA. You can call me Suki. I started this journey in 2010, backed by 16 years of experience in clothing manufacturing, with one simple goal: making high-quality clothes for kids. From lovely dresses and matching sets to jackets, jumpsuits, and sleepwear, we focus on the details that matter. Where the Dream Began
“My grandmother was a master of many traditional crafts—stitching shoe soles, making cloth shoes, and creating delicate embroidery. Yet, what captured my heart the most was her old, gently creaking sewing machine. There was something incredibly peaceful and beautiful about watching her work at that sewing table.
As a little girl, I would spend hours lingering by her side. Watching the colorful threads weave through the fabric and seeing a piece of clothing slowly take shape filled me with a deep fascination. I dreamed of becoming a tailor myself. I would often take scraps of old fabric and try to mimic my grandmother, stitching together simple garments. The results were far from perfect, but the joy and sense of accomplishment I felt were simply unmatched.”
The Dream Lives On
“As I grew older, my love for sewing never faded; instead, it became a core part of my life’s work. As I built my career in the garment industry, I saw a real need in the children’s clothing market. I noticed that so many options out there fell short: the designs were often dull and lacked personality, the fabrics weren’t soft enough and could easily irritate delicate skin, or worse, they had hidden safety concerns.
Becoming a mother myself changed everything. Watching my own child grow day by day, I realized how quickly their clothing needs evolve. As parents, we constantly worry about quality, safety, and finding the right fit. And as kids grow, they want a say in what they wear, eagerly picking out their favorite colors and fun styles! Keeping all of this in my heart, I made a promise to myself: every piece of clothing we develop at HAPA will always be created from the perspective of the families who wear them—blending a parent’s need for peace of mind with a child’s desire for comfort and joy.”
The Dilemmas of the Dream
Thus, in 2010, I resolutely embarked on the path of entrepreneurship and established GuangZhou Happy Credit Apparel Company We have been specializing in children’s clothing production for 16 years now.
Procurement, pattern making, quality inspection, logistics… Entrepreneurship is no an easy task. Therefore, I can deeply understand my partners, and I will do my best to help my children’s clothing partners when they are in trouble. During the toughest times of the company, I thought about giving up. However, the encouragement from my family and the perseverance of my team often reminded me of the peaceful moments when I sat beside my grandmother at the sewing machine.
Therefore, no matter how many twists and turns there have been, I still don’t regret my decision.

Seeing children wearing the clothes we designed and showing bright smiles, I feel extremely gratified and proud.
